AAKKOSTOUKKA – ALPHABET CATERPILLAR
Contemporary Comics Exhibition for children and adults

Opening on Thursday, 28 August 2014, from 5–7pm. Welcome!

Organised by contemporary comic art studio Kutikuti, the exhibition stars the Alphabet Caterpillar and other characters from the Comics ABC Book in the MUU Cable.

Showcasing comic originals by members of the Kutikuti studio, the exhibition also engages in a dialogue with the Comics ABC book published concurrently. In the gallery, comics also acquire a three-dimensional form. The very best of Finnish contemporary comic art is made accessible to children and adults alike.

The featured artists are Sami Aho, Mari Ahokoivu, Benjamin Bergman, Heta Bilaletdin, Terhi Ekebom, Roope Eronen, Jyrki Heikkinen, Leo Kuikka, Reijo Kärkkäinen, Jarno Latva-Nikkola, Tiina Lehikoinen, Mikko Luostarinen, Hanneriina Moisseinen, Tommi Musturi, Pauliina Mäkelä, Lauri Mäkimurto, Reetta Niemensivu, Jyrki Nissinen, Johanna Rojola, Heikki Rönkkö, Anna Sailamaa, Kari Sihvonen, Katri Sipiläinen, Tuomas Tiainen, Katja Tukiainen, Jari Vaara, Emmi Valve, Amanda Vähämäki, and Mikko Väyrynen.
