Kaarina Uimonen likes to draw fun and whimsical comics but isn’t afraid to tackle serious topics in her work as well like loneliness and other social issues. She has studied comics in Aalto University’s comic minor subject. She is interested in combining animation into her comics as well as she has studied animation in Turku Arts Academy and Falmouth University.
Kaarina’s favorite art tools are a brush, g-pen and Indian ink but she also likes to draw digitally as it gives an easy opportunity to test new styles and brushes without wasting paper.
